¡Hola! I’m Susye Weng-Reeder, the Program Co-Director for Abbey Road's 2018 Summer Program in Barcelona, Spain. I will be updating our activities here regularly, so be sure to check back every two days. |
I have been an educational leader for over 20 years. I was born in Taiwan, raised in Brazil and educated in the United States. I received both my BA and MA from the University of Texas at Austin. I currently am Spanish Teacher and Chair of the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at a private high school in Northern California. Due to my unique background, I am fluent in five languages. As a student, I have studied abroad in Mexico; as a teacher, I have successfully lead study abroad programs in China; as a parent, I have witnessed the richness of knowledge my own son gained through his travel abroad experiences. Travel and learning is one of my many passions. I have traveled extensively to over 30 countries, including Spain on several occasions. I’m looking forward to an exciting month of learning and growing with you in Barcelona.
